About Owen
March of 2023 marks my 20th year of playing guitar, and not a day goes by where I don’t pick up my guitar for at least an hour. Although I am lawyer by trade, I consider guitar to be my greatest achievement and passion in life, and I’ve played in numerous bands. I’ve mentored multiple guitar students, and used my undergraduate degree in education to tutor others in subjects like reading, writing, and law. I apply my collective experience when I teach guitar, and take a mentorship approach when teaching others.
I truly believe you can do anything you set your mind to. If there’s a will, there’s a way. There is nothing you can’t learn or play on the guitar, and you will never stop growing or learning. You can become as great at the guitar as you want to, and I would be honored to help you achieve your goals.

I have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old, and 20 years later, my love for playing continues to grow. I have played in numerous bands, and not a day goes by where I don’t plug in my amp and jam out. Although I have two decades of experience, I continue to evolve. I would be honored to share my passion, knowledge, and experience with anyone eager to learn. I am a fan of rock and blues, and model myself after the greats, including Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, Jimmy Page, BB King, and so many others.
