About Madison
I am a guitar tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance. My interest in music grew from exploring different genres and discovering how powerful guitar can be as a form of expression.
I enjoy teaching students of different ages and experience levels. My lessons focus on patience, encouragement, and clear explanations that help learners understand both technique and musical creativity. I believe confidence grows when students enjoy every step of the learning journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy writing original music, learning new arrangements, and performing whenever possible. These experiences inspire my lessons and help students discover new ways to enjoy playing the guitar.

I believe guitar is best learned through steady practice, curiosity, and enjoyable music. My lessons begin with posture, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, chord transitions, and clean picking techniques. Every concept is explained in simple English using practical demonstrations and familiar songs. Students are encouraged to ask questions, try different approaches, and build confidence through consistent progress. Each lesson creates a positive learning environment where improvement feels natural and rewarding.
As students become more comfortable, we explore fingerstyle patterns, scales, barre chords, improvisation, solo development, ear training, and music theory. I also introduce rhythm variations, musical phrasing, accompaniment skills, and creative exercises that strengthen overall musicianship. Practice routines are designed around individual goals so learners stay motivated while developing both technical ability and musical expression.
My goal is to help every student enjoy playing guitar with confidence and independence. Lessons build strong technique, creative thinking, performance skills, and a lasting appreciation for music that continues beyond the classroom.
