About JESSICA
I am a dedicated guitarist with over 15 years of experience as both a performer and teacher. My passion for music began early, and over the years I’ve worked with students of all ages, helping them grow from complete beginners into confident, expressive musicians. I studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) – Herb Alpert School of Music, where I received formal training in performance, theory, and musicianship. That education not only strengthened my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of music as both an art form and a discipline. As an instructor, I focus on creating lessons that are motivating, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you want to play classical guitar, jam on electric, or simply enjoy strumming your favorite songs, I provide the guidance, patience, and structure to help you succeed while building a lifelong love for music.

My guitar lessons are designed to build both technical skill and musical confidence. With over 15 years of playing and teaching experience, I combine proven methods with a flexible approach that adapts to each student’s goals. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your skills, lessons are structured to help you progress step by step.
Students can explore a variety of styles, including classical, acoustic, and electric guitar, while also strengthening core skills such as rhythm, scales, improvisation, and chord progressions. Alongside practical playing, I incorporate music theory to ensure students understand the “why” behind what they play — making them more versatile and creative musicians.
Each session is supportive, engaging, and tailored to keep learning both challenging and enjoyable. My aim is not only to help students master their instrument but also to inspire a lasting appreciation for music that extends beyond the classroom.
