About Penny
Music performance became my full-time focus after 13 years spent navigating studio recording sessions and live stage environments. I hold an MMus degree from Manhattan School of Music which informs how I teach acoustic technique, songwriting, and electric technique to students. My days are spent helping people master reading tabs, strumming patterns, and essential tuning and maintenance.
I also handle grade exam prep for those who want formal certification. Feel free to reach out if you want to start playing songs.

Many guitarists struggle to bridge the gap between simple chords and actual musicality. Getting stuck on basic mechanics happens to everyone.
I use my academic training and stage background to help you refine your playing. We include a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum strong. You will find that regular practice keeps your progress audible. Let me know when you are ready to begin.
