About Harper
My interest in guitar began through listening to acoustic performances and experimenting with songwriting during my teenage years. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance Arts and have spent the last 3 years helping students strengthen musical confidence through supportive and practical teaching methods.
I enjoy adapting lessons according to different personalities, skill levels, and musical goals. Some students improve through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others grow faster through improvisation and creative exploration. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and balanced musical learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy recording instrumental arrangements, studying modern guitar techniques, and composing original acoustic music. Staying active in music helps me bring fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching guitar is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students express creativity and confidence through music.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong musical foundations while enjoying the creative process of learning music. I teach rhythm techniques, chord transitions, scales, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, melody development, and timing control using practical exercises that make learning approachable and rewarding. Lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and designed to support steady progress.
Beginners strengthen their skills through chord exercises, guided rhythm practice, and simple songs that gradually improve coordination and confidence. Intermediate learners develop stronger finger control, timing accuracy, and improvisation ability through technical drills and structured repertoire activities. Advanced students focus on expressive solo performance, advanced playing techniques, and polished musical interpretation through detailed practice sessions.
I encourage students to enjoy learning naturally instead of becoming discouraged by mistakes. Lessons support creativity, confidence, and independent musical growth while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, confident, and relaxed guitar players.
