About Eliza
My interest in guitar started from listening to live music, songwriting, and exploring different musical styles from a young age. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Contemporary Guitar Performance. During the last 11 years, I have helped students strengthen musical confidence through practical teaching methods.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons based on musical goals and confidence levels. Some learners improve through repetition and technical exercises, while others respond better to improvisation and creative exploration. My teaching style focuses on encouragement, patience, and steady progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing instrumental music, recording arrangements, and studying modern guitar techniques. Staying connected to music helps me introduce fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching guitar is rewarding because I enjoy helping students discover creativity and confidence through music.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong playing skills while enjoying the creative side of music. I teach chord progressions, rhythm training, fingerstyle techniques, scales, improvisation, and musical timing using structured exercises that make learning approachable and rewarding. Lessons are supportive, engaging, and designed to build confidence steadily.
Beginners strengthen their foundations through simple chord exercises, rhythm practice, and guided song learning. Intermediate learners improve finger control, timing accuracy, and improvisation skills through technical drills and structured repertoire study. Advanced students focus on expressive solo playing, advanced techniques, and stronger musical interpretation through detailed practice activities.
I encourage students to enjoy the learning process instead of feeling pressured by perfection. Lessons promote creativity, patience, and independent musical growth while supporting steady improvement. My goal is to help learners become confident, expressive, and comfortable while playing guitar.
