About Mateus
I'm a guitar major at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and work as a teacher and instrumentalist with experience in various musical contexts. I've performed as a soloist with orchestras, participated in chamber groups, and have experience with musical arrangements, which enriches my teaching and artistic approach.
I taught classes in the UFBA extension program and currently offer private lessons for all levels—from beginners to more advanced students. What sets me apart is my ability to tailor my lessons to each student's profile and goals, always focusing on technical, musical, and artistic development.
I also teach sheet music reading, guitar theory, repertoire building, and musical interpretation. Whether you're starting from scratch, improving your playing, or preparing for exams and recitals, I'm ready to accompany you on this musical journey.
