About Felipe
He has a master's degree in music from the Graduate Program at UFMG (2014), has a Bachelor's Degree in Music with an emphasis on classical guitar from the State University of Minas Gerais (2004) and an electric guitar from the Los Angeles Music Academy (1998). He studied with Frank Gambale, Jeff Richman, Bill Fowler, Ian Guest, Nelson Faria, Linda Taylor and Oiliam Lana. He acts as teacher of musical perception, arrangement and improvisation at the Center for Artistic and Technological Training (CEART) and musical perception at the José Pinto Coelho school. He worked as a teacher of musical perception at the State University of Minas Gerais, musical perception, guitar and guitar at PRONATEC - UFMG, guitar in jazz and chord melody at Pro-music school of music among others. Among the artists with whom he shared the stage are Elba Ramalho, Lenine, Luiz Melodia, Chico Cesar, Nelson Faria, Cliff Korman, Pantico Rocha, Marcos Arcanjo, Helio Medeiros, Robério Molinari and others. He acts as a freelancer playing several musical genres in bands, Big Bands and Symphonic Orchestras. He is the author of the method "Reading at the first sight for guitarists and guitarists" published by Irmãos Vitale, the first to be edited in Brazil.
