About Melody
"Teaching is a way to share the discipline required for musical growth. 9 years of active performance and instruction have shaped my method for beginners through to advanced students.
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the University of Canterbury. My focus includes reading sheet music, reading tabs, electric technique, strumming patterns, lead guitar, and grade exam prep. I help 434 students find a lifelong love of playing by building strong foundations."

Learning guitar should feel like a creative adventure rather than a chore. Honestly, I love taking song requests and turning them into simplified arrangements that make sense for your level. We spend 9 sessions working on specific techniques with 10 minutes of dedicated goal setting at the start. It is great to see the moment a student masters a difficult chord progression.
