About Donn
I earned my Bachelor of Music in Music Performance at the Manhattan School of Music. My career spans 13 years of teaching.
I have guided 321 students through various technical hurdles. Ear training is a consistent part of my instruction.
I emphasize tuning and maintenance for every instrument. My electric technique focus builds strength.
Chord transitions become fluid through repetition. Blues progressions are a specialty I enjoy teaching. I work to keep the learning process simple and direct.

Does a free trial session help determine your starting level? I provide a free trial session to assess your current starting level before we commit to a longer schedule. We will look at your existing technique during this first meeting. My 13 years of experience ensure that I can identify your specific needs quickly.
Maintenance and tuning are the first things we address together. Electric technique and chord transitions follow.
You should expect a structured plan. We cover blues progressions as your skill set grows. Ear training remains a priority throughout all our sessions. Learning the guitar requires patience and a steady hand.
