About Mia
Starting as a student led me to 13 years of GUITAR teaching. I have taught 216 students since I began.
My approach covers barre chords, tuning, and maintenance to ensure your instrument remains in top condition. I guide you through reading tabs and sheet music, building scales and modes, or refining fingerpicking and acoustic technique. Power chords and songwriting are also part of our routine. I play guitar daily for my own enjoyment.

Your typical lesson feels structured and productive because you are the focus. I ensure that you master every technique from simple scales to complex barre chords with 13 years of refined pedagogy. My Master of Music degree informs how I explain the theory behind your favourite songs. We include a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum strong between our meetings.
I emphasise clarity so you read tabs or sheet music without feeling overwhelmed. It is rewarding to watch your confidence grow as you execute difficult fingerpicking patterns. You will find that playing songs you love makes the technical work much more enjoyable.
