"Strings vibrate against my fingertips, echoing the bolero and flamenco melodies that shaped my childhood in Colombia. I have spent 13 years exploring the technical side of the instrument after earning a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura in Argentina. My teaching reflects the traditions of chacarera, offering students a comprehensive look at both the theory and the soul of the guitar.
I work with absolute beginners who are picking up the instrument for the first time as well as performance-focused teens. Hobbyists often find that these integrated cultural packages help them understand rhythm guitar in a way that standard methods fail to capture. I have guided countless students through scales, modes, and power chords while ensuring their tuning and maintenance skills remain sharp.
