About Louis
I am part of some independent projects, mainly in Spanish. I learnt the most valuable things by teaching myself but I also took classes with professors and some institutions like CAEMSA. I've been teaching for a while now, mainly to young people who are interested in discovering the musical world. Although I've incorporated certain aspects of music theory, which I recommend and appreciate, mainly I was always guided by ear and intuition. That's how I ended up learning piano, drums, music production and composition. I enjoy being part of musical processes.

My teaching method was always based on the student's taste and intention. If you know what you are looking for, we can work with that material. In case you want to learn the instrument but still don't know where you are heading, then we can also work with a material that I propose. We'll work on rhythm, techniques, genres, harmony, melody... It is always good to find a balance between freedom and knowledge. Ideally, the student will incorporate the instrument into his/her life, as a way of expression or as a place for joy.
