About Ember
I have 7 years of experience teaching guitar, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance. My journey in music began with a strong interest in sound and rhythm, which gradually developed into a deep passion through continuous learning and practice. This experience helped me build strong technical skills and understanding, which I now share with my students.
My teaching approach is supportive, flexible, and focused on student progress. I understand that every learner is different, so I take time to understand their strengths and challenges. I focus on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and confidence, helping students stay motivated and enjoy their learning experience.
Outside of teaching, I continue practising and exploring different musical styles to improve my own skills. This allows me to bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching guitar is very fulfilling to me because I get to guide students in developing their musical abilities and confidence. Seeing their progress gives me a strong sense of fulfilment and purpose.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students learn step by step in a clear and structured way while building strong musical skills. I focus on essential fundamentals such as posture, finger positioning, chord shapes, and rhythm patterns, explaining each concept in simple English so students can understand easily. Each lesson includes exercises and song practice so learners can apply their skills and improve gradually in a comfortable and supportive environment.
I plan each lesson according to the student’s level so that progress feels smooth and balanced. Beginners focus on basic chords, simple strumming, and finger coordination. Intermediate learners improve chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and the ability to play songs more smoothly. Advanced students focus on advanced techniques such as fingerstyle playing, improvisation, and expressive performance. I provide clear instructions and helpful feedback to support steady improvement.
As students continue learning, they develop stronger coordination, better timing, and a deeper understanding of music. They begin to play more naturally and express their creativity through the instrument. Over time, they also build confidence, patience, and performance skills, which support their overall growth. My goal is to help learners enjoy playing guitar while becoming confident musicians who can perform with clarity, control, and personal style.
