About Chloe

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Guitar Performance and have 7 years of experience teaching guitar to students of diverse ages and skill levels. My teaching emphasizes technical development, musical creativity, and expressive performance, encouraging students to explore their musical voice fully.

I structure lessons to meet the learner’s individual goals. Beginners establish a strong foundation, intermediates expand technique and creativity, and advanced learners develop stylistic nuance and performance skills. Repertoire, exercises, and improvisation are combined to enhance learning and engagement.

Outside of teaching, I perform, compose, and study diverse guitar techniques to enrich lessons to the students. Guiding students as they develop technical skill, confidence, and personal expression on the guitar is the most fulfilling part of my work.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to help students develop both technical mastery and expressive musicality. Lessons include chord progressions, scales, fingerpicking, strumming patterns, solo phrasing, improvisation, and tone shaping. I use exercises, repertoire, improvisational games, and performance practice to strengthen technique, enhance creativity, and build confidence. Each session is structured to encourage exploration, self-expression, and problem-solving while reinforcing solid technical foundations.

Lessons are adapted to student skill levels. Beginners focus on posture, basic chords, simple melodies, strumming, and finger coordination. Intermediate learners practice scales, arpeggios, soloing, chord voicings, and phrasing. Advanced learners refine technique, improvisation, complex repertoire, stylistic interpretation, and performance readiness. Constructive feedback, guided exercises, and interactive practice are integral to all lessons, ensuring steady progress and musical growth.

The aim of my guitar lessons is to cultivate confident, creative musicians who can express themselves effectively through their instrument. Students leave with both technical skill and expressive ability, prepared to perform in varied contexts while enjoying the process of musical discovery.
