About Quinn
My passion for guitar began through exploring different musical styles and discovering how music connects people emotionally. I pursued a B.Mus in Contemporary Guitar Performance, where I developed strong technical skills and musical versatility. With 7 years of teaching experience, I have guided students of all ages through structured, encouraging lessons that support both technical growth and creative expression. I approach teaching with patience and enthusiasm, understanding that every student learns differently. I focus on clear explanation, demonstration, and gradual progression to ensure students feel supported rather than overwhelmed. My lessons emphasize understanding music rather than rote repetition, helping learners build confidence through genuine comprehension and practice. Outside of teaching, I continue performing, composing, and studying various musical genres to refine my skills. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to share real-world musical insight. Whether playing acoustic or electric guitar, students learn to connect technique with expression rather than simply memorizing patterns.
Lesson content is adapted to each student’s level and musical interests. Beginners start with basic chords, strumming patterns, timing, and simple melodies. Intermediate students explore scales, barre chords, fingerstyle techniques, and rhythm variation. Advanced learners develop improvisation, songwriting, music theory application, and performance preparation. I guide students step by step, offering clear demonstrations and constructive feedback to support steady progress.
