My approach is to take your song requests and turn them into simplified arrangements that make the music accessible to your current skill level. We explore how to build better ear training habits so you can identify chords intuitively.
Developing your ability to read tabs is a standard part of our workflow. Whether you want to master grade exam prep or refine your songwriting, I am here to help. Sitting in a practice room at UBC as a student, I realized that technical mastery requires a clear roadmap for every learner. My 13 years of experience have allowed me to refine how I present complex fingerpicking patterns to hobbyists and performance-focused students. I have successfully guided 433 students through the nuances of lead guitar and rhythm guitar technique. My background ensures that intermediate learners receive instructions based on formal music theory and electric technique.
