About Talia
My passion for guitar began through a fascination with melody, rhythm, and musical storytelling. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Guitar Performance and Pedagogy. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through many different musical paths.
I believe every learner deserves clear instruction, encouragement, and support. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand music while developing practical guitar skills that can be applied confidently. I enjoy creating lessons that are engaging, structured, and rewarding.
Outside teaching, I continue performing, composing, and exploring new musical styles. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to bring fresh perspectives into learning. Helping students grow into capable and expressive guitarists remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my profession.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students become confident musicians through a balance of technical development and creative exploration. We work on rhythm accuracy, chord transitions, picking techniques, strumming control, fretboard familiarity, and timing through engaging exercises and practical musical applications. Every lesson encourages steady progress and greater confidence.
As students advance, we explore improvisation, fingerstyle techniques, lead guitar concepts, songwriting skills, tone shaping, ear training, and performance preparation. Lessons are personalized to suit each learner’s interests and goals, creating a learning experience that feels both meaningful and motivating. Consistent feedback helps students continue improving effectively.
I believe music education should inspire curiosity and creativity while building practical skills. My goal is to help students develop confidence and independence as musicians. Every lesson supports long-term growth and personal expression.
