About Kayla
Technical precision often starts with the most basic ear training and rhythmic exercises. Guitar lessons should feel like a creative collaboration rather than a rigid lecture. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress to help you track your technical growth and soloing skills. You will find that reading tabs and mastering power chords becomes much easier with the right guidance.
We will cover music theory and instrument maintenance to ensure you are always ready to play. My 10 years of experience helps me simplify even the most difficult improvisational concepts. I aim to keep these sessions light and focused on the joy of music.

Working professionals and serious grade exam candidates form the core of my guitar studio. I have taught 96 students over the course of 10 years.
My background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance. I specialize in teaching scales, modes, improvisation, and complex acoustic technique to those who want to excel. Each student receives a personalized path that focuses on their goals. My approach relies on keeping practice routines consistent and manageable for busy schedules.
