About Larry
Clarity in your fingerpicking and smooth chord transitions are the primary outcomes of our time together. A simple practice module is included with every single lesson to ensure you keep momentum throughout the week. You will notice that my 13 years of experience allows me to break down difficult barre chords into manageable physical movements. Building your ear training is essential to becoming the player you want to be.
I focus on acoustic technique to help you navigate the fretboard with ease and precision. We will work through these concepts in a way that respects your schedule as a busy professional. My method relies on consistent, small steps rather than overwhelming theory.

Havana is where my musical rhythm started before I brought those sounds to the Australian stage. I vividly remember the humid nights where the guitar became an extension of my own voice while playing for local crowds.
After 13 years of performing, I decided to focus entirely on helping intermediate guitarists and working professionals refine their technique. My BMus Popular Music degree from Queensland Conservatorium provides the academic framework for the practical skills I share daily. I have mentored 477 students through complex chord transitions and intricate fingerpicking patterns.
Teaching remains the most rewarding part of my career as I watch adults find their sound. My approach blends acoustic technique with the raw energy of Latin heritage to create something authentic. Studying with me means moving past basic reading tabs into a deeper understanding of musicality. I truly enjoy seeing my students grow as they gain confidence in their playing.
