About Melissa
Strings vibrate against the hardwood floor as I dial in the perfect amp settings for a Latin rhythm. Having spent 10 years playing and gigging in Australia, I provide the structure that self-taught players often miss during their development. I combine my background as a self-taught guitarist with rigorous attention to music theory, scales, modes, and electric technique. My approach creates a bridge for hobbyists and advanced learners who want to master fingerpicking or complex barre chords.
Over my career, I have taught 462 students ranging from casual strummers to those prepping for grade exams. My home in Buenos Aires keeps my musical roots deep, influencing every chord transition I demonstrate. I love seeing students gain clarity on their fretboard patterns after years of feeling stuck.
