About Mae
My love for Guitar started through a fascination with how music can tell stories and connect people. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Guitar and begin helping others develop their musical abilities. During my 4 years of teaching experience, I have worked with learners of different ages and skill levels.
I believe music education should be engaging, supportive, and focused on individual goals. My teaching style combines technical development with creative exploration, allowing students to build confidence while enjoying the learning process. Through structured guidance and encouragement, I help learners achieve meaningful progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy songwriting, recording music, and exploring different genres and performance styles. These experiences allow me to bring variety and inspiration into lessons. Watching students grow into confident musicians remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My Guitar lessons help students build confidence and musical ability through a balanced approach that combines technique, creativity, and practical musicianship. Learners explore chords, scales, rhythm training, fingerstyle playing, lead guitar techniques, improvisation, music theory, and song performance through structured instruction and hands-on practice. I focus on helping students understand the principles behind music so they can become independent musicians. Every lesson encourages exploration and steady progress.
Lessons are customized to match each learner’s goals and skill level. Beginners focus on posture, chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and basic songs. Intermediate students strengthen technique, musical phrasing, and repertoire building. Advanced learners work on improvisation, performance preparation, and advanced stylistic development. Consistent feedback and guided practice help students improve while maintaining motivation.
Guitar is a rewarding instrument that combines creativity with discipline. My goal is to help students develop strong musical skills while enjoying the process of learning and performing. Every lesson supports personal growth and musical achievement.
