"Teaching feels like a constant conversation between the instrument and the hands of a player. Honestly, I sometimes still struggle with complex theory despite my 8 years of experience in the music industry.
My journey began long before I earned my stripes gigging in Nashville and Austin venues. These days, I use my self-taught background to help absolute beginners, adults, and teens find their footing.
Whether you want to master power chords, barre chords, or basic music theory, I provide the practical tools needed to succeed. Reading sheet music and practicing blues progressions are fundamental components of the work we do together.
I also emphasize improvisation and soloing to ensure you can express yourself authentically on stage. Strumming patterns become second nature once you understand the internal pulse of a track. It is truly rewarding to see students gain enough confidence to perform live after our grade exam prep sessions."

"Grabbing your guitar is the first step toward building a real performance. Everything moves fast in these sessions. Given my 8 years of experience playing live, I focus heavily on how music sounds under a spotlight rather than just theory on a page. Lessons for absolute beginners, adults, and teens remain grounded in what actually works when you are on a stage.
We spend time on barre chords and power chords to build your physical endurance and dexterity. You will also practice blues progressions and improvisation to keep your creative muscles firing. I incorporate grade exam prep as a way to structure your progress and validate your hard work.
Reading sheet music is integrated into our routine to ensure you have a complete technical foundation. Strumming patterns will be drilled until they feel effortless and rhythmic. If you feel ready to start playing for an audience, we can find a time to connect soon."
