Growing up in Guadalajara provided the rhythm that defined my life before moving to Australia. I remember the weight of my first acoustic guitar during those long summer nights. Having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Spanish from the University of Melbourne, I spent 13 years refining my craft across many stages. My teaching covers reading sheet music, power chords, lead guitar, strumming patterns, and ear training.
I also help with tuning and maintenance, blues progressions, and complex music theory concepts. It is genuinely fun to see someone connect the dots between theory and sound. My background includes performing Latin guitar and singing for 13 years. I genuinely enjoy the process of watching a student find their unique musical voice.
