About Michelle
Coffee in hand, I often find myself explaining complex barre chords while chatting about life in our local community. Growing up in a musical Latin family gave me a rhythm that pulses through my teaching style. I break down blues progressions, lead guitar licks, and electric technique until they feel like second nature.
Songwriting and scales become simple habits rather than chores when we approach them with the right mindset. Reading tabs should not feel like decoding ancient scripture. Whether you want to master flamenco or just play your first chord, I am here to help you get there. Your musical goals are the destination, and I am the guide who knows the shortcuts.

I hold a BA in Music from the University of Melbourne and bring that academic rigor into a relaxed space. We spend time on rhythm guitar foundations before moving into the specific modes that excite you most.
My approach avoids rigid drills in favor of practical application on the fretboard. You will find that even the most stubborn guitar concepts become clear when we relate them back to the music you love. I genuinely enjoy watching students find their own voice through the strings.
