About Sybil
Music exists as a constant hum in my life that keeps me moving forward. Spending 3 years as a coach has allowed me to refine how I communicate complex topics like modes and music theory to people of all ages.
Teaching 136 students has shown me that everyone learns at a different pace, so I keep my instruction patient and practical to ensure you feel supported. I hold a degree from Berklee College of Music which helps me bridge the gap between technical scales and actual songwriting. You will find that I prioritize your comfort and understanding above rigid systems while we work through barre chords or rhythm guitar patterns. My approach aims to keep your hands relaxed and your mind focused on the music you want to create.

You feel a sense of relief when the chords finally ring out clearly without any buzzing. Strumming patterns and lead guitar lines become natural parts of your vocabulary as we work through specific songs together. Reading tabs and sheet music allows you to interpret the music you admire with increasing speed and accuracy. Power chords provide the foundation for many of the songs we explore during our time together.
We focus on the connection between your hands and the fretboard to simplify the learning process for you. Building these fundamental skills prepares you to play the music that inspires you most. You will soon have the tools to pick up your guitar and play with confidence.
