About Janene
"Students preparing for formal assessments often feel stuck on technical hurdles. I admit that strict technical drill work is often the missing link in a player's development. My Artist Diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama informs every correction I make.
Having spent 13 years in the studio, I know exactly how to fix intonation and tone production issues. I focus on double stops, shifting positions, and refined spiccato bowing to ensure progress is audible. Theory and ear training are woven into every session."

"Focus is the primary tool here. Precise movements yield clear results. You start with a diagnostic assessment to define our practice plan before we touch any repertoire. We break down complex bowing and staccato passages into manageable parts.
It is granular work, but it keeps the music moving forward. I treat the instrument as a physical machine that requires specific mechanical maintenance.
You get direct feedback on every measure. This is how we sharpen your performance for upcoming examinations. My method keeps the process structured and predictable for consistent improvement."
