I have had the opportunity to work with companies such as Marvel Entertainment, Disney Interactive, and several other publishers and studios throughout my career.

As a young artist, it can be difficult to know which direction to take or what creative career path is the right fit. My goal is to help students explore the many opportunities available in the art industry while providing honest insight into the advantages and challenges of different artistic fields.

Although I primarily work digitally, the fundamentals of art are the foundation of every medium. Whether you enjoy drawing traditionally with pencil and paint or creating digitally, mastering those core skills will help you grow as an artist and develop your own unique style. Hello! I'm a passionate and experienced illustrator with over 20 years of professional experience specializing in comic book illustration, character design, and visual storytelling. I love helping artists of all ages discover their creative potential. Whether you're a child just beginning your artistic journey or an aspiring illustrator looking to strengthen your skills, I provide patient, personalized instruction tailored to your goals and experience level. My teaching focuses on building a strong artistic foundation through essential concepts such as anatomy, perspective, composition, lighting, and dynamic posing. While I primarily work digitally, these core principles apply to every medium, whether you enjoy drawing with pencils, paints, markers, or digital tools. Beyond teaching technique, I also help students understand the many creative career paths available in the art industry, offering honest insight into the opportunities and challenges of fields such as comics, illustration, animation, concept art, and graphic design. My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop their unique artistic voice, and enjoy the creative process while continuing to grow as an artist.
