About Michelle
Precision in hand position and posture provides the foundation for every melody I teach. My hands move across the keys with the ease of 13 years of experience spent gigging Latin music across the US.
After guiding 450 students, I recognize that true artistry requires a balance between rigorous scales and the fluid improvisation found in my MM Jazz Piano studies. I weave rhythm and timing into every lesson to ensure your chord voicing sounds sophisticated yet authentic. Memorization techniques from my time at the University of Miami Frost help you retain complex contemporary pop arrangements.
We explore sight reading as a means to express yourself rather than a chore. The music feels alive when you understand the mechanics behind the keys.
