About Agneeja
I am a student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychological science at Griffith University and originally from Sri Lanka, attended a leading international school in my country since preschool, and conducted all my studies until graduation in the medium of English. I followed the Cambridge examination curriculum hosted by the UK and obtained outstanding results which is equivalent to an ATAR value of 96 according to the grade point scale system. After completing high school I got an opportunity to serve as a teacher in an international school where I was able to share my knowledge interactively on science (biology, chemistry, physics), maths, and computer science/skills with students from grade 5 and above and while teaching at a school I decided to begin my own private tutorials for external students from other leading schools in my country and received several compliments on my teaching strategies along with outstanding results.

When it comes to the techniques, in my first encounter with a new student I ask a few follow-up questions to identify the student in terms of methods preferred when learning (visual/content-based), pace/speed of learning, strengths, and weaknesses. After my identification, I develop the strategies that I have applied to various students over the past 2 years and in each of my lessons, I bring something new from tutees, assignments, flashcards, posters, videos to many more tools that aid learning smoothly. I have been teaching for nearly 2 years for students here and overseas in both Pearson, Cambridge, and state curriculums on subjects of science (biology, chemistry, physics), maths, and computing.The length of the class will depend on the year of the student and the subject to be taught but generally lie between 1 to 3 hours per session.
