I'm Aurelius, a cybersecurity professional based in Brisbane. I currently work as a cybersecurity professional at a non-profit organization, focusing on security operations, risk and identity and access management. I want to teach because governance, risk and compliance is one of the most practical ways into a cybersecurity career, yet it's too often buried in jargon. I teach cybersecurity and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) through practical, scenario-based sessions rather than dry theory. We work through real frameworks (i.e., ISO 27001, NIST and the ACSC Essential Eight) and apply them to actual tasks like risk assessments, security control mapping, policy writing, and audit preparation. Lessons run for [60 minutes] and are tailored to your goal, whether that's passing a security certification, breaking into a cyber role, or building confidence in your current job. I bring 5 years hands-on industry experience, and I adapt the pace to your level. Sessions suit beginners, career changers, university students and working professionals. No prior security background needed to start.
