About SHEILA
I am a university student seeking a degree in bachelors of arts and science. I love learning new skills and finding new ways to improve myself and my surroundings. I think tutoring is something i have always done with helping friends understand concepts in school to hosting peer classes in high school and helping others is a joy and fulfillment to me.

As I tutor in a science field my main focus is to promote independent thinking, reduce cramming and make it easier to solve science related questions.
One of the main techniques that I employ is problem solving, where I sit down with a student observe the mistakes they might be making and going back to the basics from where these mistakes are coming from.
My lesson plans come from what the student feels they need help on and also from where I feel the student will benefit from mastering and learning.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I won't get tired of repeating a concept that the student may feel is important and promoting an open space for asking questions. Together with trying to provide relatable real world examples.
These lessons are designed for students from elementary to high school level who feel that they need help in improving in the subject but lack the direction they are seeking. I will provide for them that sense of direction and structure , that they may use in their future studies as a way of success.
