In my opinion, teaching/tutoring students is not just about helping out with a problem; It's about making them learn, understand, and master the concept in and out. My tutoring sessions usually include solving the problem at hand, giving a few other examples for practice, and then testing the tutee with a few more problems. As a tutor, it is our job to help the tutee feel comfortable while learning, and encourage them to pursue and achieve their dreams!
