About Marco
For five years I have been a student in mathematics at the Scuola Normale Superiore, a prestigious scholarship granted to about 15 children every year throughout Italy. I graduated with full marks and in March I will complete my path with the master degree. In high school I participated in many math competitions reaching the national stages. In recent years I have often given private tutoring to college and high school students. In 2020 I collaborated with Unipi for the correction of Analysis 1 exams.

There is no single methodology that is effective for all kids. The first common step is a quick knowledge and identification of strengths and weaknesses. Once these have been ascertained, an ad hoc path and methodology is structured, also based on the specific requests and needs of the student. Both theory and exercises can be done. It can range from active learning, in which the student solves and is assisted in solving, to passive learning, in which I solve exercises explaining what I do and why. You can correct exercises already done to consolidate gaps or you can look at new exercises to strengthen the first approach. You can aim to acquire new resolving techniques or to deepen and internalize those already present. Obviously, all intermediate shades can also be (and will be!) Considered. I prefer an informal relationship without the aura of fear that the figure of the teacher often inspires, without fear on the part of the student to say stupid things or to ask one more question. You learn by doing it wrong.
