About Grace
I am a 21-year-old female who is very passionate about teaching young students. I have a lot of experience in classrooms, but online tutoring is new to me. I'm always up to try new things! This spring I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Inclusive Education 1-6, with a concentration and minor in English literature. I will then be completing SUNY Cortland's literacy master's program.

I am looking for elementary-aged students (grades K-6) who need extra practice and reinforcement in sound and letter correlation, sight word recognition, and skills associated with early readers. I think it is important for students not to feel quizzed during our sessions, but rather game-like. I enjoy incorporating game-like techniques into my teaching to help students stay engaged and excited to learn. It can get discouraging when new things seem too hard, but when we try to make them fun and interactive students tend to find it more enjoyable. As I finish my college degree, my knowledge and skills are fresh; ready to help young learners.
