About Prerana
Hi everyone, I’m Prerana Sharma. My journey with Indian Classical Music started quite early, and over the years, it has become my passion. I completed my 11th and 12th grades with a focus on music, followed by a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Indian Classical Music. I also hold a Visharad degree in Hindustani Music. Music has always been a significant part of my life. Growing up, I was captivated by the depth and spirituality of Indian Classical Music, especially Hindustani music. That connection deepened during my formal education, and I knew I wanted to share this art form with others.

In this class, I’ll be covering various aspects of Hindustani music, from vocal techniques to exploring different ragas. I want my students to experience the beauty and power of this music, whether they’re beginners or more advanced learners. I do have interest in Carnatic music. So I will let you know how you can adopt both the styles of Indian music.
