About Leya

Hi there! I'm an enthusiastic Applied Economics and Management graduate from Cornell University and a Master's in International Management degree student from LSE, backed by a Bachelor's in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. My passion for economics has been the driving force behind my academic journey. I've actively contributed to the field with multiple-authored research papers in the past five years. I've had the honor of being involved in various economic councils and debates, even taking the lead as a chair in some. I have also worked as a research and strategy analyst in an academic and corporate setting. Teaching economics isn't just a job for me. My students not only enjoy their classes with me, they score consistent A's for their tests after starting classes with me. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and love for the subject with you. My goal is simple: to make learning economics an engaging and enjoyable experience for you, just as it has been for me. Whether you're struggling with core concepts or seeking to deepen your understanding of economic theories, I'm here to support you every step of the way. About the lesson

I love teaching and my primary goal is to ensure that my students are comfortable enough to ask questions and become an expert in the topic.

In my class, I meticulously follow the syllabus while bridging it to real-life situations.

This ensures that you thoroughly understand the concepts and can back it up to real-world issues and scenarios. During class and post-class, I also give my students questions to solve to test their knowledge and help them become confident in the subject matter. My students can attest to this!

I employ a multidisciplinary approach where I'll fuse various learning methods to enhance your understanding. For instance, I will be showing videos relating to economies and sending write-ups and economic blogs that will help understand the market and economy better.
