About Ailsa
I am 25 and have recently moved to New Zealand from the UK. I loved studying in school and made my way to University in Edinburgh, where I studied for 4 years to achieve my Masters in History. I studied a wide range of history topics; from the more traditional school topics, to the more niche histories including Tanzanian political history and an environmental history of the Pacific Islands. I also took supplementary classes in English and Philosophy.

I have an encouraging approach to tutoring. I prefer to teach you how to find the best way to answer questions that you might be finding challenging. Humanities are a great subject area where your argument is the most important part of your response; not necessarily whether you are 'right'. A checklist for structuring an argument is the best way to make sure you are achieving your potential in these subjects.
