About Reyna
I was fortunate enough to have a professor who believed in keeping our minds open and utilizing our brains to think out of the box. A typical syllabus would include two projects with little to no guidance, it forced us to create our own rules and topics. Through this method, I learned one of the greatest life skills that I use every day and it is so very simple, know how to find the answers you seek. You may not know every answer or direction to go, but if you know how to seek them out and take the initiative to do so, then you're already going in the right direction. This has been my approach through my education and professional experiences and it has never failed me. Oftentimes when we are faced with a syllabus and an endless task list, we get a sort of tunnel vision that hinders our growth. I hope to deploy the same vital lesson with the students I help. This along with understanding their learning styles and keeping open communication, I believe I can help my students thrive.
