About Marlene

Hello!
I am a spanish native speaker born and raised in Mexico, I had the fortune to attend thanks to my mother's determination to Private Institution's at Mexico during my whole academic formation. I was always a distinctive student, willing to learn about cultural diversity.

I learnt to speak english fluently on 3rd grade since I loved languages and being able to express myself with people around the world, I had always a great passion for exploring new horizons. The schools I attended were bilingual, half of the day was in spanish and the other in english, it was that way until I enrolled to the University.

I decided to study Science in Communication since speech and the structure of language had always been something I was attracted to, I sincerily believe having access to the different ways of interaction through time helps people understanding the primitive ways for the reception of a message. Semiotic and retoric was one of my favourite subjects since I was always exited about Philosophy and Literacy, since middle school, when we had an approach to Shakespeare and Cervantes Saavedra.

There was a focus on organizational communication as well, which gave me the ability to develop strategies during my professional carreer, psichology and administration play a great roll in each Institution, therefore it didn't matter the job I was in I had always a good background to work in team and individually when needed.

I worked in Security Institutions in Mexico where ethic and trasparency were a matter each day, I belonged to the social communication area where I had contact with Mass media, television, radio and newspaper, the image of the Institution was a very important concern as it is everywhere, I enrolled in the Federal Agency of Investigation in an important logistic position, unfortunately when a new government administration comes all team is as well, that's when I had to enroll in a Telecommunications company and at last in the Insurance activities, when I had my child and due to wanting be a present mom, I decided to part ways with full time jobs.

As you can evaluate, the different positions I have worked in seem to match this position, my son speaks a perfect spanish and I
would enjoy if you have the possibility to learn on a whole spanish cultural program. We can work to make this happen!!!
