About Ashley
I am a student and Teaching Assistant for the Freshman Seminar - Introduction to College Life course at Nova Southeastern University. Over my three years of teaching, I have had multiple students who have expressed difficulty in their classes. I would invite students to my office hours and guide them through what they found challenging, primarily in the subjects of biology and high school/intro to college mathematics. I understand learning is not a "one size fits all" approach, so I shape my lessons for each student when working one-on-one since I am familiar with their learning style.

I understand that learning is not a "one size fits all" process. As a teaching assistant for NSU's freshman seminar, I know it is important to understand who the students are and how they learn best. I incorporate a lot of practice problems of real-world examples when I teach, this way students can apply what they already know to concepts they find challenging and remain consistent.
