About Jacelinda
I have successfully instructed both beginners and advanced students from various nationalities to develop and improve grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. I personalized techniques to meet each student's individual needs. I have been working with languages spanning from English, Portuguese, Italian, Latin, French and Creole for over 3 decades. Additionally, my professional background as a multilingual medical interpreter has inspired me to maintain updated TEFL certification.

The techniques used include visuals- use images, videos, real-life objects and situations to make abstract concepts concrete and easy to understand; scaffolding instruction; modeling-demonstrate tasks beforehand.
