About Clarissa
I am from Rio de Janeiro and I am a portuguese teacher.
After getting my major in Portuguese language back in 2014 I spent half of my time teaching in school/courses and the other half researching. I have just finished my PhD degree on Comparative Literature.
if you have an interest in Brazilian cinema, literature and music, I will be happy to show you some of my culture during our lessons :)

My goal is to guide you step by step to learn to speak portuguese. However our approach will be specifically tailored to your needs. Normally I use the book Gramática ativa do português 1 and 2 as a base for exercises which cover all levels of the common European framework A1 to C2, but also other materials that encompass the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Clarissa is a great teacher, who was able to meet me at my very basic level and teach me Portuguese in an interesting and engaging way. Always well prepared with relevant materials, I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to take their Portuguese skills to the next level.
