About Rodolfo
I am a three-year degree graduated in Physics, almost there for the master's degree.
I've been teaching privately since the second semester of my first year of college, and I've had enough students to lose the count. The results have always been more than satisfactory for both the students habitually followed for years and those who have needed for a short period of time.
The reasons that prompted me to teach are the money (obviously) which allowed me to be independent and not to burden excessively my family during my studies, and secondly the pleasure of sharing my knowledge with others, and to help dispel the myth of "I'm not meant to be good at math".
I teach mathematics and physics, especially for high school, because I believe that these subjects provide knowledge and skills that are fundamental throughout the life of an individual. Examples are the ability of logical reasoning, or that of elaborating a strategy aimed at solving a problem whatever it may be, or the underestimated ability to understand written texts and consequently to write correctly.

The first lesson is usually aimed at identifying the student's gaps, and then starting the process needed to fill them.
The first part of the lesson is usually allocated to the questions and doubts that arise in the student, and to the correction of the exercises and revision of the individual work done between one lesson and another. Later, if deemed possible, the new topics are introduced and then moved on to the relative exercises.
Both in the explanation of the topics and in the resolution of the exercises, the student will carry out the necessary reasoning, always guided in the process by the 'teacher. The advantage of having a private teacher is that of being able to involve the student in every logical process, without the need to provide solutions or explanations already packaged, which, moreover, can be found in the textbooks.
The personal work of the student between one lesson and the next, is the real engine of the progress. I am available to answer quick questions or clarifications even outside class hours, but it is preferable from a didactic point of view to deal with doubts and questions organically during the lesson.
The frequency and duration of the lessons it will then be agreed on the basis of the objective, the starting level of the student and the amount of time available before any assignment, question or exam.
The lessons are aimed at high school and university students . For high schools, the topics covered are all those included in the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry programs. For university students, on the other hand, it depends on the exam and on the faculty they are enrolled in, and the willingness to teach will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (Analysis I, Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Electromagnetism are the most popular and those for which it is usually possible to carry out lessons ).
