About Yoselayd
I am classically trained pianist and graduate of the Conservatory of Music in Cuba. I have several years of experience teaching piano and musical keyboard in South Africa, both privately and in schools.
I create structured, fun, and stress-free lessons that combine music theory with practical exercises, helping students of all ages and levels develop confidence, technique, and a love for music. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, with materials and homework to support steady progress.
Watching students grow from their first notes to confident performers is the most rewarding part of teaching. My aim is for every student to leave each lesson motivated, confident, and proud of their achievements.

I offer structured yet enjoyable private piano and musical keyboard lessons tailored to each student’s age, level, and goals. My teaching approach combines music theory with practical exercises, helping students build a strong understanding of the instrument while learning in a supportive, stress-free environment.
Lessons are engaging, creative, and motivating. Students learn proper technique, music reading, rhythm, and coordination, while playing songs they enjoy. I provide learning materials and assigned homework to encourage steady progress.
I teach all ages, from 3 years old to adults, and all levels, from beginners to advanced. Lessons include classical piano training as well as learning pop and modern songs.
I teach in English and can also offer lessons in Spanish. My goal is for every student to gain confidence, knowledge, and enjoyment from each lesson
