About Hongbo
I am a senior software engineer and programming/building is pure enjoyment to me.
I like also teaching people programming, in fact, I found myself a better programmer when I started mentoring people 6 years ago. Ever since then, I led programming training sessions across the company and I feel great when I see people like my training, and there are constantly talent questions arised by my trainees.
I hope you are a fluent English Speaker because otherwise we may have difficulty on the mentoring.

A language does not go by itself, so does a programming language.
I combine several aspects in my programming class:
computer composition
operating system concepts
data structure and algorithm
programming language
object oriented programming
With the related knowledge, you will know not only how, but also why, just better and more confortable with a touch-the-ground confidence.
A commonly asked question is "Which language should a beginner start with?" and C usually said to be "hard" for beginners. Trust me, that is not true any way. C is directly connected to the computer and it is in fact the easist language to learn. Other "advanced" languages just mask the underlying system from you and you lose the opportunity to learn "COMPUTER programming".
I suggest the beginner always begins with C, and then other languages, of course, I won't suggest you stay long on C.
