About Amar
My name is Amar Shah and I have a years worth of experience of tutoring at kumon learning center. I graduated from watchung hills with a 4.6/5 weighted and 3.77/4 unweighted GPA. Additionally, I have engaged in participating in tutoring for my respective peers as a form of community service and kindness. As mentioned I was once a student seeking help for my classes and the most essential thing I could take away is that a students progress is dependent on the teacher. I am willing to embrace this and become the best confidant my students could rely on.

I am an understanding well-rounded student who knows what it’s like to struggle. I have a years worth of experience at the Kumon Learning Center and I am 100% committed to helping my students as I was once in the same position. Not only am I responsive to my students I am a firm believer in making mistakes but don’t quit. The hardest concept students don’t recognize is that making mistakes is part of the journey when learning. However, as a teacher and individual person, I am there to ensure my students learn from their problems and become just as successful in the classroom as they will be in my online sessions!
