About Regina
I started teaching Mathematics and Portuguese at age 13 to my colleagues and I fell in love with the profession!
The teaching of foreign languages started to be part of my life while I was attending high school and that made me choose the Language course at UFRGS.
Before graduation, I taught at CCAA. After graduation, I worked for a few years with translation and volunteered at a community daycare, bringing English and Spanish to the children.
From 2005 to 2015, the teenagers in a community course also had the opportunity to learn these languages. Since 2015, I have my own course, whose headquarters were in the Bom Fim neighborhood, in Porto Alegre, until the pandemic came, when classes became online, which has been extremely beneficial for both me and my students. We save time, money, health, shoes!
Currently I have 33 English and Spanish students taking individual or group classes, from A1 to B2 level, preparation for proficiency exams and tutoring.
My plan for this summer is to offer basic and pre-intermediate super intensives for a month.

Based on Oxford material for adults, the English classes are super complete, with audios, videos and lots of conversation.
The methodology for teaching Spanish and Portuguese is the same, but with material from Edelsa and Pearson (this one , aimed at those who speak English as their native language).
With more than 20 years of experience in the teaching field, I easily recognize the needs of each student, adapting the material to them, from basic to advanced level.
]I provide certificates, including proficiency, and offer extra material to review outside of class time.
I also have English and Spanish material for teenagers of the same quality.
