About Tavoy
I am a fourth year doctoral candidate in economics at the University of Alabama. I am currently researching macroeconomics theory. Specifically, I am writing a theory that substantiate evidence of the effects of government spending found in the data, on private consumption and new business formation. My theory lends support to insurance funds that are provided by the government that safegaurd unemployed workers from losses in their consumption.
Outside of my academic life, I enjoy reading comics and science journals. I occasionally engage in outdoor sporst activities such as soccer, and rollerblade skating. I engage in other activities such as the Caribbean student association. Through, this I am able to bring a life of the Caribbean on campus, by sharing my country's cusine, musice, dance, and other aspect of our culture.
