About Juliette

I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2022 in Asian and Middle Eastern languages with a 2.1. I am now fluent in Arabic, German, Spanish, French and English. I excelled in school, graduating with only A stars at GCSE and A-level. Growing up, I enjoyed competing in table tennis and judo.

I started as a professional in the British Government on the Fast Stream Program in 2023 in project delivery.

I am currently undertaking a Law conversion whilst volunteering for an NGO which takes care of refugees and as a Legal Caseworker for another NGO fighting against discrimination and racism.

About the lesson

With over 6 years of tutoring experience, I have supported qualified foreign professionals with their IELTS, Cambridge PhD students with their French translation, GCSE students with their French oral, primary students in Maths, French and Arabic and college students in French, Maths and English. I have experience both teaching classes in person and individual students online.

As a Cambridge graduate in languages, I understand the process of learning very well and I make it my objective to make learning fun and enjoyable so as to motivate the student to learn quickly and independently.

I typically assess my student's level and learning style in the first session. The following lessons will be planned according to the student's key weaknesses and exam requirements. I start every lesson with a warm up exercise to get the student engaged. If it is a language class, I will then test previous vocabulary and then focus on either reading/listening/speaking whilst practicing a key grammar point. The class ends with specific feedback points divided between new words, corrections, pronunciation errors and what the student has improved on. If the student has capacity for homework, I will often set homework so that the student can consolidate their class learning.
